The HN 408 DCF Mini-Master Clock is composed of:

• - IF 491 electronic control box with DIN-bar mounting bracket
• - DCF 450 radio receiver for time signal transmitter DCF-77

Automatic time setting by external time signal receiver DCF-77-Time catch-up for connected slave clock movements to correct time. Internal quartz time base with software "learning procedure" for exact time keeping if radio reception should be interrupted or disturbed. Hand position memory for automatic and accelerated time setting of the slave clocks after mains power failures. Internal "battery-less" real time clock for immediate time catch-up for slave clocks after mains power failure. Under commissioning, slave clock hands have to be set 12 o'clock. The hand positions are stored in a non-volatile memory of IF 491 for unlimited duration. After the first setting to work manual operations are no longer needed.
Seasonal time correction are automatically initialized by time signal transmitter DCF-77.
